We are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week if you ever have a problem with your heating or cooling system.  However, you may want to run through the checklist before calling.  It could save you the cost of a service call!

Heating and Cooling Checklist

No Cooling Check List

1. Check your thermostat.  Is it set to the "cool" position or do you need new batteries? If not, set it to "cool" or change the batteries.
2. Check your circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped to the "off" position.
3. Check your filter to make sure it's not plugged with dirt, hair, etc.
4. Check your condensing unit to make sure the coil isn't covered with debris.

No Heat Check List

1. Check your thermostat.  Is it set to the "heat" position or do you need new batteries? If not, set it to "heat" or change the batteries.
2. Check your gas shut-off switch to make sure it's to the "on" position.
3. Check your circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped to the "off" position.
4. Check to make sure your furnace switch is turned to "on".
5. Check to make sure your furnace fuse isn't blown.
6. Check your furnace filter to make sure it's not plugged with dirt, hair, etc.
7. Check your furnace vent to make sure it's not blocked by ice, snow, etc.
8. Make sure your thermostat settings are set to the proper time (AM/PM).
