Responded to after-hours recall for same-day AC and furnace installation where service valve caps were left off the outdoor unit. Inspected the condensing unit, located the valve caps at the base of the equipment, and properly secured them onto the exposed service ports to protect against contamination and environmental exposure. Documented the corrected installation with photos for quality assurance records.

Billy was pleasant, did a great job of explaining what he saw. He relocated our humidifier control box so it covered the area from our previous control box – looks much better. He also put up a “beauty panel” to hide the uncovered area from a previous thermostat replacement. Much better. I will certainly be requesting Billy as our service tech for future Cardinal visits.

Coordinated utility disconnect with power company at 8:00am and deployed backup generator to maintain power to the residence throughout the workday, as the homeowner required uninterrupted service. Removed existing electrical service equipment and installed new 200A underground service infrastructure, including meter base, main disconnect panel, and associated conduit and wiring. Excavated and installed underground electrical service entrance conductors per code requirements. Successfully passed municipal electrical inspection.
